YFN (Ucluelet First Nation) is seeking an Adult Basic Education (ABE) Instructor / Post-Secondary Advisor.

This 35 hour a week position starts in late August and closes for the summer by late June.

Candidates will have current BC Teaching Certification, BA in Education or equivalent, and the ability to teach math and English to students in various levels of ABE. Candidates should also have the skills necessary to effectively prepare and submit nominal rolls, annual funding proposals, and education plans. In addition, candidates should have strong administrative skills in order to effectively manage and support Post-Secondary student files.
